My love for Cirque du Soleil grows each time I see a performance. Each time I watch Cirque du Soleil, I feel alive again on so many levels. It is refreshing for my mind and soul! Whether you are a child or an adult, your daily life is full of things that bog you down. If you don’t have a way of releasing some of that then life starts to feel less free. The kids survived another year of navigating the social, emotional and academic ins and outs of school and now they have new summer routines to take on. Celebrate it all with a night out at Cirque du Soleil. I was provided with tickets for review. As always all opinions are my own.
In our house, summer is a time when I crack down on all the rules that we flexed on as the school year got more hectic. At the same time, we schedule in some of the fun outings and activities we had no time for before. This balance of rules, routine and a schedule with built in fun and chill time keeps us all from hanging from the chandeliers. Leave that to the aerialists at Cirque du Soleil who can hang from the chandeliers in the most spectacular way.
Music is another part of my children’s summer routine. There is nothing like a little inspiration to help practice times feel like less of a chore. One of the things I love about Cirque du Soleil is that their music is live. Corteo had a beautiful score with everything from guitar and saxophone to whistling and glass cups.
Corteo is playful with an underlying deeper theme. It is the perfect family outing that will have lasting effects on everyone. Don’t miss the show. It is only here until June 30th. There are some great offers on the website as well. Check them out here at Cirque du Soleil .
