Isabelle’s Masks

City living has been anything but normal of late. The new normal is wearing a mask. I have gotten used to it and I appreciate when everyone has one on. We wear masks to protect one another as members of a community.

My daughter, Isabelle, has been making Gather Here’s masks pattern for community members for months now. She is making them for free with a request that people donate to the Greater Boston Food Bank or similar charities if possible.

I have gotten requests on social media and now, she is also leaving masks out for passersby to take.

For those of you who scanned the QR code here are charities that you can donate to (if possible) in exchange for the masks.

Black Lives Matter

Youth on Fire

Thank you.

Grandpa’s National Park mask. He paints the mountains, climbs the peaks and Isabelle figured he should wear them too.
