Levitate Music Festival has been held for the last decade and it gets bigger year by year. Levitate is a great way to celebrate summer with live music and a whole festival atmosphere with fun food, creative vendors, art, a kids’ area, and skateboard zone. Last year was my first Levitate Music and Arts Festival, and I had a great time listening to some bands I knew and many that were new to me. I’m looking forward to covering the festival again this year and watching it grow and change in years to come. The best part of sharing my concert experiences is running into more of you concert-going folx at the next show or getting questions about shows you are about to head to. Let’s keep the music alive. I love seeing more and more of you heading out to catch a live show.
It is ultimately all about the music, and Levitate has three stages: Stoke, Style and Soul. Take a look at the line up and set times here. Before I go, I like to highlight all the sets I know I don’t want to miss and then try to catch as many in between as I can. Levitate is a great environment for families and kids of most ages (I’d say 7 year old and up would be a sweet spot). If you want to make a day or weekend of it with the family instead of the traditional beach vacation, it is a great option and you don’t have to do much of any hosting because it is all there on site. It is also a perfect festival to attend with adult friends no kids. Catch up on life lounging on a picnic blanket or beach chairs in between sets, enjoy food and drinks together, and plenty of jams.

The Levitate Music and Arts Festival has many layers in addition to music. There are live visual art experiences, art vendors, and interactive art experiences for when you want to explore something a little different. For families, there is also a kids’ zone, which includes children’s activities set up by the kid zone operators and run by the Levitate camp counselors.
Food Festival Options
You can’t have a festival without food, and Levitate has curated a unique and varied group of over two dozen food vendors for the festival. You will find the following food at Levitate Music and Arts Festival this year:
- Anon’s Thai Cuisine out of Brattleboro, VT
- Binge BBQ out of Newport, RI
- Cheese Louise from New Hampshire and Portland, ME
- A little New England island food from Nantucket at The Lemon Press
- Umami Bites all the way from Wooster (not Worcester), Ohio
- Filipino Street Food brought to the Marshfield Fairgrounds by Ginger Love Cafe
- Tacos from Bridgewater’s Gonzalez Food Truck
- For that New England Summer treat Portland, Maine’s The High Roller Lobster Co. will be on hand with lobster rolls and more
- Providence, RI will be bringing the poké with Hometown Poké
- Filipino Lumpias are another great savory festival treat brought to Levitate by the Lumpia Bros.
- Another great hand-held food is an empanada, brought by Matilda
- Menya Jiro will prove to you that ramen from Japan can be festival friendly and they will have other festival friendly foods no doubt too
- Hometown clam shack and bar, Roht’s Marine will be on hand as well
- Out of Dorchester in Boston, Singh’s Roti Shop is a delicious spot to get some Carribean food
- The Filling Station out of Chatham will have comfort food for all your cravings
- Straight out of Fenway you can have a taste of The Sausage Guy
- Enjoy New Zealand style ice cream from Far Out Ice Cream
- Cool off with classic New England style frozen treats from JC’s Dairy out of Hanover.
- Every dog has its day and every festival has its dog. Surf Dogz will be serving hot dogs, fries, and such.
- When it is time for a coffee break seek out SlackTide Coffee Roasters
- Satisfy your taco cravings with Tica’s Tacos
- Field Field’s Blueberries will be on site out of Maine for all your blueberry needs.
- PieSons Pizza will be there for your midday or late night pizza cravings too.
- The Chef’s Table from the area will also be serving their seasonally inspired fare
- The best kind of bar may be a Broccoli Bar out of Burlington VT
