By Leah Klein September 12, 2019 October 3, 2019 0

My husband and I have always loved Vermont. We soak in the mountain air and dive into the lakes. We love the small towns and craft breweries. I have a little saying about Vermont: Vermont is the only state I know where you can stop at a gas station to …

North Shore Adventures: Bancroft & Co

North Shore Adventures: Bancroft & Co

By Leah Klein June 15, 2019 June 22, 2019 0

I have always preferred the north shore to the south shore for my New England summers. I prefer the landscape, the smaller crowds and the less packed highways getting to and fro. I was recently invited as a guest to Bancroft & Co. Peabody. As always all opinions are my …

The Row Hotel: Assembled to Perfection

The Row Hotel: Assembled to Perfection

By Leah Klein October 30, 2018 October 30, 2018 0

You can find me here in the morning with my coffee and the paper. I have been a fan of Assembly Row since the day I stepped foot by the Mystic River.  That chilly fall day by the river, I watched a bucket loader full of Legos ceremoniously pour onto …

New Seaport Restaurant: 75 on Courthouse Square

By Leah Klein January 26, 2018 January 26, 2018 0

It has not been that long since I was down Boston’s Seaport (or Fort Point) neighbourhood. It has been long enough though that I was shocked to see many new shops and restaurants. Each time I’m in the Seaport, I get excited about what the neighbourhood has to offer. Yesterday, …

This is linger over a glass of wine kind of weathe This is linger over a glass of wine kind of weather. Dan and I had a fab time doing just that last night at Spoke Wine Bar. Now I’m craving all the things: the cranberry fresno glazy saucy thing on the fried parsnip cake, the hint of bergamot in the aioli with the quince glazed sausage skewers, the fresh scallop crudo paired with rich AF beef cheeks, the somehow buttery soy sauce in the clams with persimmon, and the creamy tagine bean dip. I could go back again tonight and have it all again- and so much more of the menu that we didn’t try because we kept this meal dairy free for Dan.
