Come to Your Senses: Holiday Shopping at Stitch & Tickle and Vintage Garden

By Leah Klein November 13, 2019 November 15, 2019 0

It feels like winter showed up at the doorstep an hour earlier than the time on the invitation. If you are not careful, the whole holiday season is going to catch you off guard. In order to float through the season gracefully, you need to get out and get on …

By Leah Klein November 7, 2019 November 9, 2019 0

Opera is not everyone’s cup of tea. When you make sweeping assumptions like that you are bound to miss out on something pretty special. I was invited to see South Africa’s Isango Ensemble’s Magic Flute at Arts Emerson this week. The first time I saw the Magic Flute, I was …

Shifty Business: Mindset Matters

Shifty Business: Mindset Matters

By Leah Klein November 6, 2019 November 6, 2019 0

I’m an over thinker. I always have been. I can’t really help it, but over the years I have learned how to manage it (somewhat). If I were a wine I’d be thought forward with notes of anxiety and self doubt. As I get older, I have learned to step …

Cruise Boston: Classic Harbor Line Cruises

By Leah Klein November 5, 2019 November 5, 2019 0

This fall I was invited on a fall foliage cruise with the Classic Harbor Line cruises and I was not sure what to expect. I had been on other harbor cruises in Boston and New York and found them to be cheesy. The décor tends to be dated, tour guides …

Fall in Love with Your Front Porch This Season-Sponsored

By Leah Klein September 27, 2019 October 3, 2019 0

To make the porch feel even more like a fall gathering spot, I added some canvas art on the wall. The picture of an apple is not only cute and seasonal but also reflects what is going on inside the house. We have apples from the farm and I’m making pies, crumbles, candied apples and apple sauce this fall.

Passagers/Passengers: Don’t Let it Pass You By

By Leah Klein September 27, 2019 September 27, 2019 0

I wanted to see what 7 Fingers/ 7 Doigts was all about when I first heard of them. After seeing them tonight on the one hand I wish I had seen them the last 1/2 dozen times they have been in Boston, but on the other hand I’m glad this …

By Leah Klein September 24, 2019 September 24, 2019 0
