Leah's Lunch: Moody's Deli (Waltham)

Moody’s Deli is not a deli.  Well, it’s not just a deli.  If Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory is a Seven Eleven then I suppose Moody’s could be a deli.

New England Charcuterie is like Roald Dahl’s fantasy chocolate factory but for cured meats.  Lunch at Moody’s can be a combined deli grocery shopping trip and lunch so wherever you live it is definitely worth driving to Waltham for should you need an excuse other than fabulous sandwiches .  

I had lunch with a friend and we shared three sandwiches.  I brought one home for my husband’s dinner  and after eating 3 x 1/4 sandwich I had another 3 quarters to enjoy for lunch the next day.  And let me tell you, I relished every moment looking forward to eating those day oldsandwiches  from the fridge – they are that good!

Moody’s Delicatessen & Provisions is located in Waltham on … you guessed it Moody St.  Right next door is the Backroom which is an equally impressive spot to go for dinner.
