Mittens Are What You Want

Mittens Are What You Want

By Leah Klein February 2, 2021 February 2, 2021 1

Newbury Street Must Shops

Newbury Street Must Shops

By Leah Klein October 16, 2018 October 16, 2018 0

The reason I like Newbury Street is that it is so very Boston.  Newbury Street is nestled between the gorgeous brownstones of French boulevard style Commonwealth Mall of the Back Bay and the bustling center of Copley Square.  I love to shop even if it just window shopping.  On Newbury …

Assembling in Somerville: A Destination for All

Assembling in Somerville: A Destination for All

By Leah Klein July 15, 2016 November 19, 2017 0

Somerville is my neighbour and parts of Somerville are very close by. Davis Square is just on the other side of Massachusetts Avenue and yet other parts seem a world away. It wasn’t until Assembly Row opened, that I realised how quickly you can get there from here.  In fact, …

Kaleidoscope: Boston Ballet's Spring Fever

By March 21, 2016 March 21, 2016 1

Okay, so it is snowing outside, and we’re all half-heartedly  grumbling. The truth is, we know we’ve been spoiled this winter and this little last hurrah of a snow fall is nothing we can’t handle. While the world outside is a bit confusing, there is nothing confusing going on at …

Shop Chestnut Hill Square: One Stop for Sanity Sake

By Leah Klein May 14, 2015 November 19, 2017 0

I live in Cambridge but shop in Chestnut Hill.  I don’t know when it started.  I’m guessing it had something to do with working over at Solomon Schechter Day School and going to the gym at Wellbridge (when it used to be in Newton and when I worked out daily …

Fashion Tip: The Beauty of a Scarf

Fashion Tip: The Beauty of a Scarf

By December 12, 2014 December 12, 2014 3

Men have ties and bow ties.  They have cravats and ascots, and pocket square.  The amount of style that men can achieve with a little scrap of fabric without much effort is quite impressive.  I suppose more and more women have chosen to take advantage of all these traditionally masculine wardrobe accents …

Fall is Here and Winter Will Follow: Step it Up with Shoes

By Leah Klein November 5, 2014 November 19, 2017 0

I am sitting at my desk on this sunny fall day with a pair of warmly lined rain boots.  We are going for a test drive today and I think I’m in love with them.  When it comes to shoes, I’m easy.  I’ve been wearing shoes for quite a while …
